District Design Dialogue – Holland Village
A gathering of more than 155 neighbours, merchants and creatives, each bringing their craft, generosity and warmth to the street of Jalan Kelabu Asap.
District Design Dialogue Holland Village (DDDHV) is an annual experiential platform that made its debut at Singapore Design Week 2018. Organised in collaboration with our friends and partners at HJGHER, One Eleven and Est., our humble Holland Village witnessed a gathering of more than 155 neighbours, merchants and creatives, each bringing their craft, generosity and warmth to the street of Jalan Kelabu Asap.
Over 10 days, we saw 13,243 visitors and members of our creative community rally together to breathe life into 10 converted black-and-white terraces, celebrating design across fields as diverse as music, food, fashion, literature and art. Collaborators, both local and international, brought their best work to our neighbourhood, and delighted all attendees with a series of programmes comprising installations, workshops and exhibitions.
This is not your average design and arts event—think cosy performances in someone’s living room, interactive art installations in an unexpected setting, and craft sessions to create your own masterpieces.
